I could keep typing and this could keep going! Filling up this whole space!! I wonder how far it’ll let me go!! Guess I’ll just keep going! But what shall I say? Oh I know, I went to an event in my city a couple weeks ago, and here’s something I learned: If you are going to be hosting a special event at your boutique and want all your regulars to come as well as bring in new customers, make sure you shovel your walks!!! Hire some 15 year old kid to keep your walks free of snow and ice. And even the walks surrounding you. Trust me, when the snow is blowing on a cold night, it is such a treat to be able to walk on a clean walk. A delight you might even say! Worthy of the most delightful boutique in the world. I also learned while attending this event, that on a cold day, if your customers will be spending any amount of time out of doors in order to get to you, they will come in your doors with not so delightful hat hair from toques and hoods, and, well, a bit of a runny nose. It would be so welcoming and thoughtful for you to have by the front door, an enormous mirror for your customers to do a little check when they come in. A box of kleenex might be appreciated as well.
